    The structural driver that over decades tore safety and excellence out from Boeing’s engineers, greed and more greed, has been removed so there is no longer a risk that Boeing leaders would trade human life for 1/4% increase in their own stock price.

    Definitely fixed now. I totally trust the company after all the soul searching and improvements they must have made.

      You can imagine they presumably must have made some changes, almost certainly for the better or at least not much worse

    Doesn’t self-certifying defeat the entire purpose of certification?

    Why not let students grade themselves while we’re at it.

        This reminds me of an old clip from Benny Hill. He’s playing a Texan and says, “They flew me over here on a Boe-ing 747. It sounds like a piece of the plane just flew off!” Too bad he didn’t get to live to see his joke turn into an ongoing issue.
