14 days agoI did have my own router and wifi at the time never wrapped theirs in foil tho… but I suppose why not… fear of overheating I suppose

If alternatives to Comcast were available was something I have been willing to pay higher rent for in my life.
Possible that one was too new at the time but they claimed to support it was at the start of docsis 3.1 iirc as I had a similar issue with an older docsis 3.0 first
I tried… Comcast would “forget” the modem 3 times a month and would have to call and read them the MAC address again etc… fuck Comcast
