Strongest Arch Enjoyer

wait, I KNOW YOU, i’ve seen you before!!! haiiiii :3
also, how tf did you take a picture of me?

I tried arch as a daily driver many many years ago, it was a great learning experience, but maintaining that system wasn’t worth it.
I use it in distrobox daily though. Rolling distros work really nicely for doing dev work through distrobox on an otherwise immutable system
I will not be tempted to distro hop. I’m perfectly content on my flavor of Arch. (˶˃⤙˂˶)
It’s possible to modify your current setup, might just take a little time and effort.
Shit. On one hand, I don’t feel like distro hopping, on the other hand it looks just perfect…
Tbf, you can totally modify your setup to look like anything. That’s the beauty of Arch: cutting-edge and minimal.
btw
I’m in this post and I love it.
Gentoo, Guix, Linux From Scratch and Live-Bootstrap enjoyers be like…
We don’t care, we are too busy compiling our systems.
Hex0 to Mescc only takes 20 seconds on modern hardware (or 2 minutes on an old Pentium Pro with 512KB of off chip L2)
This is because the average arch user does not enjoy their experience. The average enjoyer is so far beyond a mere “user” when it comes to self-flaggelation
For me, Arch “just works”™. Rarely when I stumble into an arch-related issue, a quick five minute search is all I need if I don’t already know the fix for the issue.
Actually most people that stick with arch enjoy it very much. At least among people I know.
I played around with Mint, Fedora, Debian (Raspbian, really) and Zorin casually when I was still a Windows user. Arch was my first daily driver after switching cold turkey some three years ago, and I’ve been pretty happy with it.
I did something similar in 2010 barely understanding what am I doing. Feel good about that decision to this day.
We dont know each other; but I am in that camp. Been using Arch for years. I enjoy it very much so.
