I make these shiny objects out of rocks I collect, dichroic glass, and solid glass bricks. It’s a really laborious but also meditative process.
Lapidary work is fun and rewarding, but if you decide to give it a try be sure to wear a respirator, silicosis will mess you up.
Also, here’s the next batch I’m working on fresh off the saw. From here I need to grind them flat and then go through progressive grits to get them shiny.
