yup! kids start to read a bit before the age of five typically and need to learn the basics of literature before that. a lot of people, not necessarily those here, erroneously think it starts later. my “smartest” (according to my parents) sibling started showing interest in reading around the age 4. me, around age 4.5. They always used that one child as their standard of excellence and compared the rest of us to that individual (not even giving their gender because i generally like my siblings, even the shitass. can you believe they shit with their own ass?). well guess what smarty may have a job and a retirement but do they have missing teeth?
