    That’s like telling a kid they can’t do what they love doing because their parents are bad people. You do you I guess. It’s not like those athletes have any other option other than not doing what they love.

        Almost every athlete started sporting when they were a kid, and it’s the passion and competitiveness they developed back then that is pushing them to reach top sport levels.

        Yes, you are telling the kid inside them which started their whole journey to the top to not do what they want to do.

        Regardless, it was a metaphorical comparison, I wasn’t calling them mental children.
