I like spell check in theory. I disable autocorrect bevause it’s fucking stupid. But I like having the option to mistype something and fix it with one click.

We both have atrocious, worse than MD handwriting (we both worked for years in the “helping MDs not destroy the world” industry cause their handwriting is better than ours. Reading theirs is a game. Reading ours is a nightmare. I once had a classmate in college ask to borrow my notes. She asked why I wrote them in code. I didn’t) and being able to understand each other over text ruins the fun
