Topic per title, basically.

For me: after setting up all the integrations and fall overs using the arr stack and Jellyfin (inc Sabnzdb etc)… I keep circling back to Nova video player.

It’s arguably not even self hosting…but there something undeniably cool about sticking a USB stick into a router, installing a single app on your TV and boom, done. EDIT: of course, it can consume the *arr stack, integrate with Ombi etc

IOW, I really like stuff that simple to set up and punches above its weight class.

    Hey could you just zip up your arr stack and send it to me? I don’t know if it’s just me or if it’s just understood that it doesn’t work the way it’s advertised, but I cannot for the life of me get any one part if it to run 100% right.

      TRaSH guides do a very good job explaining how to set up the file structure and configure each app. YAMS (yet another media server) is a script that automates the arr install. Looking at their docker compose file and guide could also help.

        I’ve actually tried both, yams got me the furthest but none of them will move files to new, properly named folders no matter what I try.

        I’ll give this one a try, maybe a combination of this and yams will get things going.

        I’m honestly not even looking for 100%, all I want is to rename the files and move them to new, properly named folders. Currently I can rename files but I can’t move them anywhere so I have to rename them, manually move them, then add the new location to the arr involved.
