I wouldn’t do it because of the fire hazard. Better to use hardware that is meant to run 24/7 plugged in.

Have you looked into Rivendell? Not sure if it is abandoned, but I’ve considered trying it.

I saw a huge jump in battery life when the upgrade to 24.04 came. Might not be the case for all the phone models supported, but there is some progress.
