  • It took my sister literal decades and multiple doctors to finally get a thyroid condition correctly diagnosed. Things improved on the right medication but not well enough so she had surgery to remove the thyroid and things have dramatically improved. She shared a few of the symptoms you have. While I don’t think she was told that’s normal, she did encounter some distrust and hand-waving from some doctors.

    I’m not saying you have the same condition. I’m not a doctor. But I am saying that if even a tiny part of you thinks that something isn’t right, keep searching.

    I don’t think what you’re describing is normal and I would be pushing for an appointment with an autoimmune specialist.
