Programming@programming.dev•Google’s AI pinned another man’s sex crime on a doctor, and a German court says Google must answer for itEnglish
43·9 days agoI fully agree, but the thing here is this doctor who was accused of a sex crime he didn’t commit. They can’t simply throw out a chatbot without a human being to be held accountable. This is one of the major threats of LLMs in my opinion: the danger isn’t the LLM itself, but its creator’s attempt to reject any human responsibility.

1312·11 days agoI switched to Linux many years ago, but now I am a bit worried which path it will take.

No, this is not what AI is for. This is what dictatorships here and there are turning it into. Or, in a broader context: This is what we human beings do. This is a human mistake that is - in this case - done in the Chinese Communist Party.
Your ‘link’ is just a form of whataboutism. I provided two other sources that come to the same conclusion, and there are many more that prove China is not a trusted player in AI, very much as it isn’t in all other areas. The fact that the US government isn’t reliable either has nothing to do with.
