Glad to help! To be fair, a lot of tutorials do it on terminal because it’s consistent for every distro out there. However Gnome Disks is stupidly easy and that’s why I like it. I install my system, I install Gnome Disks, then switch to manual option and set automount for my other drives and that’s it.

You can use Gnome Disks (gnome-disk-utility) to edit fstab via GUI. I’ve been using this for years and never had to manually edit fstab even though I can.

Some programs’ download link redirect you to Microslop Store, so at least some of them use it either voluntarily or involuntarily.

I don’t know, I installed Bazzite on my parents’ PC and they don’t use or need terminal at all. Same thing for my aunt’s laptop with Aurora. I don’t even give technical support anymore since I installed these.
That actually makes sense. Maybe that was the reason why I saw it in the first place. Lazy people in works. :)
Funny story, in my first years of Linux, I always thought sh was the only way to run downloaded programs in the terminal. I must have seen it on some forum and learned it that way. Much later I learned that I could just type this ./program and run them.
It’s a journey and I tested a lot of distros but these are the ones I actually used in 20 years:
Pardus >> Ubuntu >> Crunchbang >> Bunsenlabs >> Manjaro >> EndeavourOS >> Void
I also used MeeGo on my netbook when its prime time. Crunchbang will always have a special place for me. The OG Pardus was fun too.
You might find Void too barebones but it’s nice like that. When you finish void-installer for the first time, you get a system with 144 packages only.

Hey, my home server netbook can play jet_plane_taking_off.opus.
I’m not a greybeard (yet) but xbps-src would like to have a word.
Also, Debian is bad for cognitive abilities since if you use it long enough you forget how to configure things. /j

I’m selling this sunflower seed. !!! Only 50 sun !!!

That can work too but I think I read somewhere that M$ cannot push online account in EU but only in EU. So, don’t know. :)
