Yeah, that’s good to know! I didn’t have the mental bandwidth to learn all the ngix thing and just wanted to let my family access my immich server, so I’m currently test driving with ynh.
So far I love it, but haven’t yet tried restoring backups or upgrading apps.
What’s this community’s opinion of Yunohost?
I’ve been struggling with keeping everything in control, the discovered yunohost. It’s like containerised apps, but without containers. I love how simple it is and the wide range of apps.
That’s probably like when I look for my cellphone and don’t notice it’s on my hands…
A few weeks ago I installed Debian on my old computer and i swear I couldn’t find these options!
Ever since snap arrived, I switched to Debian.
The only thing I dislike about Debian is that there is no “server/headless install image” available, so it’s not a big deal.
That’s true when you consider their official tasks… However after years in industries, it became apparent to me that their maon job is to “have contacts in high places”.
When your CEO signs a deal with their friend’s friend for the biggest contract of the year, it’s hard to replace that by an AI…
