That’s the truth. The problem with systemd is that it’s too good.
Wayland is neat and may reach feature parity with X11 just in time for it to be replaced by the next thing!
Not really. It took a while but it’s been solid for a long time. Much as I resent their “our way or the highway” policy, but Ubuntu pulling support for X11 is probably for the best. Solves the adoption problem.
I just really like exploring. I do also enjoy the feel of a fresh clean install. Getting to set things up again without all the cruft of gradual config tweaks.
That’s exactly what I ended up with, Arch on my gaming laptop, Debian on the server.
It is weird not having a desktop computer, but the laptop plays all the games and the server does all the rest.

Latte Dock isn’t being maintained any more, right?
It was the only one I could find that replicated the MacOS dock aesthetic and behavior and it’s used in all the drop-in global themes, but it’s doesn’t run on Plasma 6.
Has anyone cracked the launcher bar in Plasma 6 since Latte Dock didn’t make the jump?
