2 days ago100% it is barely usable now I gave Kagi a few tries and was really impressed by how good and sane the results are but I cannot get myself to hand out more money to an American company.
I should add that they are what’s called a Public Benefit Corporation now so there is so effort coming from them.
Honestly in an effort to avoid american tools I went for ot then I found out the guy behind SimpleX is a climate change denier Maga supporter and all around lunatic and regardless that the project is open source I don’t want to be found near that thing.
Sessions seems to be a decent alternative though but if I want a chance to convert people to try to use more privacy respecting chat tools Signal is the best compromise.
