  • Young men showed one of the sharpest rightward swings of any age cohort in 2024. After backing Joe Biden by double digits in 2020, voters aged 18–29 saw a massive gender divergence: The Margin Swing: Men under 30 swung toward Donald Trump by roughly 15 to 20 percentage points compared to 2020, with several exit polls showing Trump either tying or outright winning the demographic. The Widening Gender Gap: While young women continued to favor Kamala Harris by wide margins (roughly 18–20 points), young men broke heavily in the other direction, creating the largest ideological gender gap ever recorded among young voters.
Racial Diversity Among Young Men: The shift was especially pronounced among non-white younger men. Young Latino men split evenly or favored Trump, and young Black men shifted significantly rightward compared to 2020 exit numbers.
Key Drivers: Post-election analyses cited sharp dissatisfaction with the cost of living and inflation, a rejection of mainstream Democratic cultural messaging, and Trump’s aggressive outreach through alternative media (podcasts, streaming platforms, and the “manosphere”).

  • Wow! That’s a funny take. Us Gen. X raised ourselves, raised our siblings. Learned how to control our emotions, learned how to cook, clean while children. And learned how to play without the internet.

Then we built the web and everything that goes along with it. Whether Gen x and boomers you would have none of this that you’re using a communicator right now. That phone your using was built by us. The databases that run this social app. Same. Pretty much everything you take for granted now that didn’t exist for us was built by us.

Calling us lazy is ridiculous as every Gen x I know worked multiple jobs including myself and my wife. The grind was real as times were extremely tough in the '90s within 12% inflation at times and double digit unemployment. Things that people now wouldn’t even be able to deal with. Gen Z is too concerned about their feeling and emotions to even be good workers today.

Tell me something gen Z has built.

  • It wasn’t because everybody worked and put in what was required to fix it.

Any company with old code was in danger. Every Bank everything had to work their asses off to get all these changes made and test it. Still some things failed but it could have been much much worse if people didn’t panic and put in the time to fix it
