  • That’s a lot of ignorance.

The ban defines social media in an extremely broad way. It’s basically almost every website with a social aspect to it, comments under a news article would apply. Not only does it create a huge issue to have an unclear definition up to the interpretation of whomever will be taking advantage of it, it’s also not a good measure to protect anyone. Kids that are feeling isolated because of, for example, their gender, identity, or looks, and who were using social media anonymously as an escape, are the ones that will struggle.

And what do these bad effects cost? Massive, population-wide ID checks, that will need to be uploaded online, and France is soooo secure with their data breaches every ~3 days. So your ID information is in the wild, which will be heaven for hackers (who will consequently try even more to cause data breaches).

Social media are, in general, horrible. You want to make laws, make laws that extremely strictly ban all the shit that facebook, twitter and youtube and the likes do. Ban toxic algorithms (or algorithms altogether, no one needs anything else than a good search engine), make big platforms responsible for hate speech and actually punish them, and make it a huge, in-depth criminal investigation with extremely harsh punishments when a platform like Facebook is found to hide and protect pedocriminal rings. At the same time, increase education budgets a lot and teach kids how things work instead of letting them be thrown in the jungle with no clue what’s going on.

Also, you think that a 15-years old with no social media experience is going to be safe online? That’s doesn’t make sense. Make a 70 years old suddenly use the internet and they’ll also be lost, it’s not just about age but about technology literacy.

  • There’s people in powerful positions making nazi salutes in front of crowds. There’s governments doing a minute of silence to honour a nazi terrorist that died while attempting an attack. There’s most of the western world supporting a genocidal Israel. Even if what you said was true, it goes with a general trend and is unrelated to Ukraine. The question remains, why Ukraine and not a more influential country first?

And again, even assuming that what you said is true… Do you really, actually believe that this would be fighting against the nazis, not just fighting exclusively for the interest of Russian people? If those alleged nazi Ukrainians were killing Americans instead of Russians, Russia would do the same? It’s all about personal gain, there is nothing about fighting fascism here.

  • They are not condemning the nazis, they are using it as an excuse. Do you really believe that an openly fascist dictatorship is hostile to fascism? And who said that you cannot be openly nazi? Have you not seen all the nazi salutes being done in front of crowds by various pieces of shit all over the world? What timeline are you living in? The time when nazis would have to hide is long, long gone. It feels like you’re living in an alternate universe to be able to say that.

Anyway, let me get this right. Putin wants to exterminate minorities, but then he fights nazis? Oh please, be serious.

And let’s push the argument then. There are nazis in Ukraine, so the country deserves to be invaded. There are nazis all throughout Europe (actually a big current problem), so Putin should invade all of Europe, possibly the whole world. So your solution to fascists is to have a dictator conquer the world? (And if you’re going to argue that he’s not a dictator, well you’re too far gone I guess.) Also, why pick Ukraine specifically, instead of all the more influential countries that also have nazis? It’s very convenient that the one nazi country Russia targets is one that has desirable territory for Russia, what a stroke of luck!

And finally, I’m not going to see errors of my opinions if Russia wins because I’m not going to believe the show they make of their defeated enemy, history is written by the winners and the fact that you believe a win from Russia would prove that they are right shows the lack of rationality in your opinion.

To see errors of my opinions, I’d need Russia to lose or stop attacking, and to see Ukraine go clearly full nazi now that the threat is gone. And I don’t see that happening any more than it has been happening with all modern “democracies” that are failing due to a weakness to the fascist ideology in its new form; and if Ukraine has nazis just like other democracies, that would still defeat the narrative of Russia, that “Ukraine is nazi”, and just show that nazis are a threat for Ukraine and democracies in general.

Your message is basically empty of substance, as if you cannot even find any in what you’re thinking. Maybe it would be time to think about what you think, for once.

  • The difference being that when you try to compare sources and find out what is actually going on, the bullshit defending Israel doesn’t hold, but the things about Russia do.

Or is it that the concept is that once you see that someone is lying, you assume that they are the only ones lying, and the only ones unable to say the truth, and you start blindly believing another liar?

Also the whole thing with Russia invading Ukraine is that they’re claiming they are nazis, how do you explain that western countries that are heavily and openly supportive of nazis, would suddenly try to bullshit and deny that Ukraine is a nazi country? The same governments that do a minute of silence when a nazi terrorist gets killed during an attempted attack, that support the genocide in Palestine, would suddenly get cold feet and just deny that Ukraine is a gigantic nazi country? If it were the case, they wouldn’t deny it, they would start saying that no “democracy” can be attacked for its political decisions and basically defending the nazi rights. For them not to be doing that means that the nazi narrative is just bullshit.

But I don’t know why I’m bothering trying to argue here, you can’t really debunk someone brainwashed by propaganda with just a few messages.
