Well in the illustration the spiral is thick enough that you do get a decent amount of core along with the crust! I’ll take it

but even then, some people get crust and others don’t. I guessss that might suit some people’s preferences, but I feel like you’d end up left with most of the crust pieces
I think option A is the only viable one here! B and C fuck up the crust-to-centre ratio
If you have a big group, just buy more pizza. That said, I do want to try eating a pizza spiral now

that she was probably raped every night without understanding what was happening to her and thought to herself that this is just one of her duties. It’s not a duty she likes so she gets sullen and distanced when Sudhir who (I think correctly) Nidhi thinks reminds her of her husband.
Ahh that reading of it makes a lot of sense, and certainly explains Padmini’s change in attitude.
Yes the aunt’s reaction to Sudhir being around is odd. Is it just that he reminds her of her son, or (and this felt more likely to me) she’s attracted to him? Like you say, I enjoyed the uncertainty of the ending.

2·2 months agoThanks for sharing! I’ve just read through it and I agree that the writing and pacing is really great. It touches on some interesting ideas about taboo, exploitation and I suppose… hidden lives.
What did you make of the ending? Spoilers:

It was interesting that Sudhir revealed his past to Nidhi because he felt that she was wise and would understand him. But then, if I’m understanding the ending correctly, he was subsequently annoyed by her correcting him and decided to spite her by getting her to move bedroom. Leading to the visit from Padmini in the night (who apparently tries to get into her husband’s old bedroom each night to hump the occupant?). Sudhir seems very shallow; perhaps particularly upset by the fact he’s being corrected by a woman. It was quite a bizarre, unexpected ending!
In fairness I think Matt Damon did a good job in this role; but I totally get what you mean
I saw the Odyssey the other day and thought it was great. Though it did make me laugh seeing trailers beforehand for Dune part 3 and Spiderman which both feature Zendaya, who also plays Athena in the Odyssey.
I’ve got nothing against her and Tom Holland, but it does take me out of the narrative a bit when it’s the same few actors in every film. I’d love to see more with lesser known actors.

Lmao if I do it, I’ll report back 😎
