So, in what way is this crop interesting? Only two minor features (a single headlight & a logo) is intact - I’d assume any sensible crop, that isn’t just the full car, would have at least one major feature intact - an entire corner, the entire make name, the entire front grill, you get the idea.
It’s a shame the photo (or this crop of it) lost the very tip of the top corner.
Nice photo - I especially like the clouds. However, you might want to check your memory of the place, and the raw photos - that blue sky looks rather implausibly intense, as if some AI (or at least HDR) has got at it.
Just Googling out of interest: “Florence is a small city at the mouth of the Siuslaw River, on the Oregon coast. Its vast Sea Lion Caves are home to Steller sea lions. Nearby, trails around the restored 19th-century Heceta Head Lighthouse offer views of seabirds and migrating whales. Shops and galleries fill the city’s Historic Old Town district. Across the river are the towering sand mounds of the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area.”
Can’t pretend global warming isn’t happening :)
And its a great word in its own right :)

“I’m not camouflaged, I just stun predators into disbelief that I’m there at all”
TY - and with results like that I can imagine why you like it!
That’s impressively detailed: what camera/lens were you using?
On making mistakes, one of my big lessons what that those happen a lot more often if you are tired, and tend to increase dramatically once they start happening. So I learned was to watch out for being tired and especially stop as soon as sensible after making a mistake that “shouldn’t” have happened (I tend to get the seam ripping done and anything similarly tedious, so my next start is on something I want to do). Trying to work through tiredness or setting “I must finish this today” goals is just doomed.
I like your Mum’s comment :)
A much better crop than the last corvette photo, at least to me - an entire side, at a sharp angle, with a bit of room to breathe (i.e. the back wall gives it space and context), and an single, but complete, headlight.
