How do you know the parent does all of that? The only evidence you’ve got is a kid in a costume. That kid might be neglected 364 days a year, but mum wanted to go to a fancy dress party this day.

The only reason the pic got that caption is because someone likes Pokémon and would’ve loved to have been Pikachu with their mum, not because of anything else.

You can charitably believe that all the other things you’re talking about happen in this child’s life if you like.

Cute, but I suspect this is a relatively minor aspect of parenting.

Not at the moment, but there’s no reason to think it could never happen, unless you think it’s impossible to simulate a human brain, which seems an unlikely thought.

It also helps teach you about your own opinions, and helps you learn new things even if the person you’re taking to is a moron (because you have to research stuff to debunk their bs)

It’s different when it’s people coming and fucking up your project and breaking your rules - then they deserve to be dealt with robustly. But if all they’re doing is fucking up their own product then being a wretched little gossip doesn’t help anyone.
