I’ve been hiring engineers to program robots and the resume is perfect for checking if they know how. I just check a few things during the interview to make sure they didn’t exaggerate too much.
Cover letters are worthless though. Everybody says they’d be a great fit and want the job even if they’re desperate. I just need to know what they can do.
Yeah I don’t want to know why you want to work here. It sounds mean until you have to read, I didn’t, a bunch of them. Overall if it makes sense and doesn’t sound too exaggerated then it’s probably good enough. The references thing is annoying as well. Like I have really good references but are you going to download signal and contact people overseas? Lol
