    Doesn’t that kinda kill the point of a Kobo? I mean you can sideload everything with Calibre on a Kindle and on other readers.

      i thought Kindle was stopping you side loading on newer Kindles ?

        I think there was some confusion when they switched to the MTP protocol, but afaik sideloading via USB still works.
