    The argument isn’t made that Fahrenheit is great because it goes from salt water freezing being 0 to something else. The argument was the vibe that 0 cold 100 hot

      And what are 0 and 100 in Celsius but arbitrarily tied to H2O? Salt water and human biology are also physical phenomenon, if slightly more arbitrary. A species based on any other such liquid chemistry (like methane for Titan, etc) would equally be confused on the arbitrary choice of H2O.

        I think you are a bit confused. Above people were saying how great Fahrenheit is for 0-100 being “cold for humans and hot for humans”. That’s the vibe argument.
