Mullvad has operated public encrypted DNS (DoH) servers since 2022. They are unnecessary when using Mullvad VPN — traffic is already encrypted and Mullvad VPN's internal DNS handles all queries.

When the news that their CEO is funding the far right came out, I emailed Mullvad support asking them to refund the remainder of my annual subscription, and the reason, and they did it. So if you would like to, you can ask for a refund and don’t have to wait until subscription expires.
