This is one of the most readable books I’ve picked up. Reading it felt like watching the Heidi cartoon series. Gonna be honest, anyone else tried of how writers romanticize reading? Maybe its because I grew more cynical in my age. Maybe its because I am more aware than ever, of the publishing industries faults. Maybe its just colonialism.
I have tried looking fiction stories written in my world setting, but they all suck, one way or another. The only real dose of real people’s live I get is from non-fiction and let me tell you, you are likely to even found ebooks of those, let alone a traditional hardcover book.
Also, j am from a culture that to this day, still realize on oral story telling.
