    I use Octopi generally, though the add/remove software app is prettier. If I have to install software via the command line I always have to double check the syntax. The command like version existing is extremely useful as a fallback though, and most (all?) gui package managers act as wrappers around the command line. So don’t dunk on the command line

      I find installing or running software from the cli is excellent for getting hints and clues to errors that the gui won’t show you.
