    If it weren’t for immunocompromised people and children, I’d say that I welcome all anti-vaxxers to stick with their beliefs and learn first-hand why we invented vaccines to begin with (plus a society with fewer belligerent cranks is more stable and less prone to supporting authoritarian/far right ideology). It’s a shame they have to hurt innocent people with their bullshit too

      It’s not just them, vaccines aren’t always the same level of efficacy for everyone. Even normal healthy and vaccinated people can be susceptible without strong enough herd immunity.

        And immunity can wane over time for some. I had to get the MMR series again when I started nursing school because I tested negative for rubella antibodies.
