As of a few minutes ago old.reddit.com now seems to requre logging in to access it.
Shame as it was still the best place to browse for info about some niche interests.
Edit: Seems like they might be testing the change as it is hit or miss at the moment.
Edit: Adding this to My flilters in uBlock Origin seems to fix the issue for the time being:

I’m on both because the activity there is just unbeatable for niche topics, but I have been successful at bringing at least 1 or 2 other redditors over here and will continue to preach there!
Same, I still lurk in some subreddits because there isn’t a spot here for them yet. Niche hobby subreddits are Reddit’s strong spot.
It also has an insanely bustling NSFW sub-industry, the likes of which just cannot be rivaled anywhere else apart from dedicated sites…
Which ones? So I can avoid them…
