    Science is great; it’s the people who ignore it throughout school but still think they know enough to understand complex topics like medicine and climatology that are the problem.

    What exactly does this mean? I was a bio major and other than the usual “growing up and realizing society is a cesspool of idiocracy and greed”, most people seemed content in their choice. School can be stressful but that’s ubiquitous to most degrees.

    F this. I’ve been in science for years (completed grad school and now working in it). It’s needed. Without it we get more dumb shits who don’t vaccinate and think the climate crisis is fake because there’s snow in Texas on occasion. Kindly f off with this mindset.
