But I don’t think people realize there are a minority of animals that are just mean. They understand what is wanted, they don’t need to do the things they do, but they do them anyway, and don’t care about the harm they cause.

Tbh it is really good you got rid of a pet you weren’t able to take care of.
A cat that is a danger is a cat who doesn’t feel well at all. Also cats can respect boundaries, if you respect theirs.
