I browse lemmy a lot late at night in dark mode and the screenshots and memes are very bright. It really hurts my eyes.

I’m thinking of a few optional settings that can help:

an image filter which inverts images when most of the image is white in dark mode. (screenshots and comics) If not, it reduces the brightness. (for pictures)

Option to hide all images and thumbnails.

toggle text posts only mode like how you can toggle nsfw posts.
