Need a hotel and just wanna blindly trust your glasses?

What are your other options? Blindly trust google? Blindly trust random locals? Blindly trust every hotel receptionist trying to convince you to stay at their hotel?

At some point you have to trust something.

You can at least look at options presented to you. Even Google Maps will let you manually sift through businesses. Letting your fucking sunglasses tell you “go here” is immensely different, dude.

Get this, I can also look it up on the already insanely powerful phone in my pocket, see the options with my own eyes, look at the map so I know where I’m going, and make my decisions on my own because I’m not an adult baby who needs his sunnies to tell him what to do.

But what if your hands are occupied, carrying shopping bags or eating a sandwich on the go? These things have legitimate use

Put your shopping bags down? Plan ahead?

I swear to god, you people are so intensely lazy. It is not in any way worth it, the damage these glasses for the mentally impotent are currently causing isn’t worth it and it will never be worth it. You’re acting like if I sent you back to 2002 you’d fucking die in three-to-five business days.

              So pathetic.

Nobody is saying its necessary for survival. Yes, we can go back to the 1800s and still survive. That doesn’t mean computers are bad. Whether or not it’s “worth it” remains to be seen, since these things were only just released

Congratulations on not understanding the basic literary device of exaggeration for the expression of a point.

We know that it’s not worth it right now and if you need help understanding that then we are well and truly fucked.

So you’re argument ends up being “It’s not worth it, obviously”. Unfortunately “it’s obvious” is not a valid argument, especially for a technology that is only just becoming viable. And if you are too lazy or incapable to present actual evidence just say so.
