These were small easily identifiable kernel changes, not the entire investigations that GPS and NFC needed.

Ill be working to getting calls fully working, but this is already a big step.

And speaking about NFC, i just submitted the kernel patch for it to the mailing list! very nervous and excited to see how that turns out.

    I’ve grown pretty disillusioned with Android. Sure, it’s Linux, but without standard Linux packages, personal control, privacy, etc. I understand Graphene gives a lot of that back, but it’s still an open question on how much Google is going to do to make AOSP useless without their proprietary extensions.

      As far as I understand, that is going to be a problem mostly with future pixels where they dont get drivers as fast as before. I don’t know for sure though. But I think current gen pixel should be great until it’s tkme to update anyway
