Why don’t you ask the developer enforcing a secret blacklist? What a stupid fucking comment, holy shit.

EDIT: Oh, you are the dev. Fuck off, loser.

Seems like there wouldn’t be this big hubbub if the dev hadn’t been a sneaky asshat who decided to control the views of anyone using their front-end without notification they were going to change.

            • The full list with detailed explanations is available publicly in the GitHub repo.

            • The “toxic mode” toggle is visible in the tesseract GUI along with another explanation of what it does

            • Tesseract is not a default Lemmy UI, an instance admin has to manually add it in order for it to be accessible.

            • Tesseract’s toxic mode filter does not ban anyone

            • Instance admins are not forced to use Tesseract

            • Users are not forced to use an instance that provides Tesseract as an option

            • Users are not forced to enable the toxic mode filter on instances that have the toggle enabled

            • We are all free to block whomever we please on our own accounts

            • Admins are free to ban whomever they please from their instances that they own

            • We do not get to decide who gets banned from other peoples instances

            • We do not get to decide what other people read

            • Other people do not owe you or I an explanation of why they do the things they do in their free time

            • We do not get to control what other people create in their free time
