    this reminds me I’ve seen people like this being oblivious to other peoples tragedy for the sake their day has to stay perfect or else. it’s like a type of walking on eggshells. really easy to cause pearl clutching if any tone is anything less than easy and coddling.

    no supposed loved one is allowed to talk about current pollitics for fear of negativity. or issues they are having. subject always has to change to something this person can deal with. they dont deal with confrontation well if at all. any slight will have them obsessing or crying for days on end. people have to watch how they speak around them like you cant even say current slangs or they get upset very easily and start tone policing

    the few people i saw like this it was a result of parenting where they were over sheltered putting them into some sort of stassis state where they cant reach adulthood and seem to have emotionally arrested much younger than other problematic people where they are permenantly 5 yrs old. some even adopt a squeaky polite voice that sounds way younger than they are. like you ever see a 50 yr old woman with a childlike squeaky voice?

    and really weird with animals. they treat pets like a 5 yr old does and make up weird rules and prone to overfeeding the pet.

    they also believe they control the happiness of others. like only they know tones to ‘calm’ others like they believe they have such powers to control other people’s emotions.

    i swear it has to be a control disorder.

    and yeah, they use ‘blessed’ a lot. like …too much.

      A-religious but ultimately decided the word blessing is too useful linguistically and rich conceptually to forfeit due to its religious origins alone. Luck, kismet, etc, all lose something of the link between well-being and gratitude which blessing offers. Until an uncompromisingly superior candidate is proposed I will continue to appropriate the word without remorse.
