I have used LLMs quite a lot since they first became a thing and there is one thing I always notice. After chatting for a while it always feels like you are talking to a version of yourself who just happens to be knowledgeable in a vast amount of topics.

At least for me it is similar to having an internal monolog just a lot more interactive. Considering that, I can definetly see why people find AI partners appealing. Because they are literally talking to themselves.

I don’t think that’s a bad thing on itself, after all I used to have long conversations with myself all the time to help me arrive into conclusions. Just be mindful of that and use as a tool, because that’s exactly what it is.

Bingo, you did teach them to not do stuff that can get them hurt. That is the whole point. Of course you don’t leave the kitchen unattended but you don’t rely on just that.

Dude, do you even have cats? Of course I don’t, all it takes is turning your back a few seconds for disaster to happen. You still need to train your cats regardless.

Appart from the fact I have knifes and other stuff they could be knocked over, the counter is also right next the cooktop. The kichen counter is off limits, last thing I want is my cats getting hurt.

Compressed air only works if it’s one of those designed for cats that are activated by a motion sensor. If you are the one holding it they just learn to do it when you are not looking.

Then going to the first vendor in town and forcing them to buy all your crap even though they clearly have no use for it.
