Your posts are legitimately condescending, lol. I keep having to stop myself from being snarky.

Sony phones have headphone jacks. I’m typing this on my Sony phone which has a headphone jack.
What is with the Yale flag? Seems random as hell. What do rich kids with conservative parents have to do with the rest of these objects?
It’s definitely a sign of the times that I didn’t even consider that! I hope you’re right.
Using slop to make fun of crypto certainly is a weird choice. They’re very much adjacent.

Seeing an actual real shirt in this comm is like spotting a fucking unicorn. I zoomed in and everything, it looks legit!
Riiiiight. The teeny tiny percentage of the younger generations who end up with houses will be super impactful in future elections, lol.
Yeah, nah. None of us have houses and most are in the same position I’m in: I will have to work until I die. There’s no retirement in my future. If anything I’ll just be moving further left as I get older.
A big part of the reason that boomers are so awful is that they own all the houses and made sure their pet politicians made the value keep going up over time by limiting the amount of housing being built.
Our circumstances are so drastically different from the boomers that there’s just no way we’re going to be just like them. I do agree that we have to be mindful of the warnings you’re mentioning, but I don’t think it’s even possible to follow in their footsteps. They did a thorough job pulling the ladder up.

You’re right, and you were even polite about it. Anyone who uses that word for anything other than being literal has decided that they are completely fine with triggering rape victims if it helps them make a point.
Oh, and the people who comment on the use of that word are often rape victims, who then get piled with mean comments and downvotes. It’s gross.
What? 2026 feels endless. 2026 going fast implies you’ve enjoyed it. We started out the year with the Minneapolis freebie murders by the fucking gestapo, then we had the bombing of the girls school in Iran, followed by this recession and the AI nonsense imploding the consumer electronics market. Combine that with a horrific wildfire season and both of my hobbies are essentially fucked.
And nothing but bad news and toxic media cycles to sprinkle in between all the shit that has effected me directly. What an awful, endless year.

You’re misrepresenting reality. This article is good news, period. A jury decided Meta was at fault, and this is good regardless of your negative framing or how much they end up having to pay.

If it’s not you it’s someone else, and it’s still pessimism. And people still upvote it, because everything is bad, and all good news is actually bad news.

No, commenting “it won’t happen” on every single fucking post is pessimism. Sometimes good things happen.

People always upvote some form of this comment on every post that contains potential good news. Sometimes y’all need to keep your pessimism to your fucking self. It’s exhausting.
Fair enough! I think envy is a natural reaction to your posts to us poor bastards stuck in the US. Maybe I should make you envious and post photos of the cascade mountains that I have access to here in the PNW. We don’t have a “freedom to roam” law here but we do have a lot of public land.
